The Lancet Conferences: Health of the Nation Summit 2010

Inform and Reform

As the election approaches there will be much public debate about the most effective political strategies for health-care reform. While there is little doubt that the UK health system needs reform, there is substantial disagreement about the role of government and information is conflicting about how health reform might affect families, health-care providers, insurers, employers, public-health programmes, and the economy. The key question, however, will be whether comprehensive health-system reform can be undertaken in light of the growing financial crisis facing the nation.

This conference will provide a platform to discuss prospects and offer solutions for health reform post-election.

Why should you attend?
