Abstract submission

SUBMIT ABSTRACT NOW!

The Lancet Oncology invites authors to submit abstracts for the Poster Sessions. The deadline for abstract submission is July 23, 2010.

Abstracts should describe any original research that advances or illuminates clinical practice in HPV-associated cancers. Case reports will not be accepted and submissions should not contain animal research.

Upon submission, the editorial team and scientific committee will judge abstracts for suitability. Authors of selected posters will be notified by email on August 6, 2010. Authors are permitted to submit more than one abstract. Abstracts should be in English, contain no more than 300 words, and be structured as per the CONSORT guidelines for abstract reporting. Each abstract should also include a brief title. Abbreviations should be kept to a minimum and defined after first use. Tables, figures, and references are not allowed in the abstract, but may be included on posters for those abstracts selected for presentation at the conference.

The full names, affiliation(s), and full address(es) of all authors should be provided. The name and address of the authors who will both present the poster and act as the corresponding author during the selection stage should be clearly indicated at submission, together with contact details. All authors should disclose any financial or personal relationship with people or organisations that could be perceived to bias their work. All sources of funding should also be declared. Abstract title, names and addresses of authors, contact details, conflicts of interest declarations, and descriptions of the funding source(s) do not count towards the word limit. Abstracts should be proofread for accuracy before submission. Selected abstracts may be edited to house style before printing.

Abstracts should be submitted by July 23, 2010 via the Online Abstract Submission system.
